SimpleMonitor

SimpleMonitor enables you to monitor the printer status from your computer. You can check for the printing status of the printer, paper jams, open covers, or the status of the drum and toner cartridge from the status window on your computer.

Connection

SimpleMonitor can work with the following types of connection.

How to Install

This section explains how to install the SimpleMonitor. The installation procedure differs according to the machine model. Refer to the appropriate procedure for your machine model.

Important

• You must log in as an user with Administrator rights.
• Before installing, quit all applications.

Click the [User Tools] tab on the Driver CD Kit.

A submenu screen is displayed.

Select [Install SimpleMonitor] and click the [Start] button.

The installation tool is activated.

Follow the description on the screen to install.

How to Activate

The procedure for activating the installed SimpleMonitor is described here.

From the [Start] menu of Windows, select [Programs] > [Fuji Xerox] > [SimpleMonitor for Asia-Pacific] > [Activate SimpleMonitor].

SimpleMonitor will be activated.

How to Uninstall

This section will use Windows^® XP as an example to explain how to uninstall SimpleMonitor.

Important

You must log in as an user with Administrator rights.

Activate [Add or Remove Programs] from the Control Panel.

Select [Fuji Xerox SimpleMonitor for Asia-Pacific] from [Currently installed programs], and then click [Change/Remove].

Start the uninstallation tool for SimpleMonitor.

Follow the description on the screen to uninstall.
