IP Address Setting Tool

This is a tool for setting the IP address of the printer. It allows the user to easily connect the printer to a TCP/IP network environment.

This tool configures the IP address of the printer by searching for printers on the network that are assigned with an IP address via the DHCP server. Even for printers that are on networks without the DHCP server, they can be configured by specifying the MAC address.

Note
IP Address Setting Tool does not support IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6).

Starting Up

Important
Log in as Administrator.

  1. Click the [Admin Tools] tab on the Driver CD Kit.

    2. A submenu is displayed.

  2. Select [Start IP Address Setting Tool] and click the [Start] button.

    3. Installation begins and the first wizard screen is displayed.
