Limitations -------------- * When the [Ports] - [Enable bidirectional support] check box is not selected, this software is not available. * SimpleMonitor may not operate correctly when it is used together with other utilities that access printer ports directly and monitor printer status. In this case, configure settings such that the printer is not monitored according to the utility used. * If you install this software on Windows Server(R) 2008 R2 or Windows Server(R) 2012, add the [Print and Document Services] role in advance. For the procedure for adding a role, refer to the Help of Windows Server(R) 2008 R2 or Windows Server(R) 2012. When the role cannot be added, this software may fail to display printer status correctly depending on the environment where it is used. In such cases, try either of the following: 1. Log in early after you restart the OS. 2.
