User Setting Plug-in

User Setting Plug-ins are tools to set and operate devices.
You can make the following device settings and operations using User Setting Plug-ins.

Register and edit E-mail Address Set/Edit device E-mail Address.
Register and edit Speed Dial Set/Edit device Speed Dial.
Register and edit Profile Set/Edit device Profile.
Register and edit Network Scan This option sets/edits a destination to which to transmit data scanned from a device.
Register and edit PIN Set/Edit device PIN and User.
Register and edit Automated Delivery Setup Set/Edit device Automated Delivery Setup.
Cloning Copy device settings to another device.

Restrictions

When this plug-in is used, the device must be placed on-line.
Information about a device in the off-line state (printing data or with an error) or performing a function cannot be displayed or changed.
A Manager that has added many entries to the device may take a long time to be displayed.
It is safer to set the 'Address info lock timeout' to a high value before using a Manager to change settings.
Once the timeout expires, changes cannot be saved to the device.
Put back the original setting after use of each Manager, since this timeout also affects the MFP control panel.
